At present Agromet Advisory Services (AAS) are being provided to the farming community of the country at State level through 23 Agromet Advisory Service Centres of India Meteorological Department (IMD) located at different State capitals twice a week. These advisories in the form of bulletins are prepared jointly by the meteorologist of AAS centre and agricultural specialist of respective state Department of Agriculture and are tailored to the requirements of farmers in the state. These bilingual (in local/regional language and also in English) bulletins are disseminated on a real time basis through All India Radio, Doordarshan, Newspapers and website of the IMD.

The Agricultural Meteorology Division, IMD,Pune prepares comprehensive Agrometprepares Advisory Service bulletins containing crop specific advisories for all the states of the country and issued to the respective Director, State Department of Agriculture. ( Click on the Mailing list)

Besides, All India Agromet Advisory Service bulletins are also prepared by consolidating the State Comprehensive Agromet Advisory Service bulletins and are issued to Shri. Kapil Sibal, Honourable Cabinet Minister for Science and Technology and Ocean Development, Shri Sharadchandra Govindrao Pawar, Honourable Cabinet Minister for Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and number of dignitaries at different Central Government Offices in New Delhi. and other places in the country .
