The Agricultural Meteorology Division of IMD provides technical assistance to
various Agricultural Universities, State Department of Agriculture, ICAR and other
Research Institutes to establish Agrometeorological Observatories within the farm.

It helps in site selection, standardization, installation, procuring, repair and
periodical inspection of meteorological instruments. The Division provides
services to these stations along with testing of instruments, carrying out
inspection .
